It’s always lovely to shoot your friends, and I was really looking forward to meeting up with this gorgeous pair. They wanted to do some photos at home with their furbabies (they’ve rescued several dogs), as well as doing a human-only session on the beach.
There was a lot to fit in during an action-packed couple of hours as we tried to outrun the fading sunlight, but I love the sense of family in this shoot. It’s almost a journal of their day and their life as they prepare for the baby; from the dogs all squashed on the sofa through to reading the baby books. It won’t be long until this family of 5 becomes a family of 6!
