Although I love capturing special moments for families, and is there anything cuter than a newborn shoot, I also love the grittiness of street photography and the rawness in street portraiture.
The following series is a collection of men that I met on a photo walk through Deira and its fish and vegetable markets. I loved shooting these faces; so full of character and stories. Starting at 5am meant we were there to witness the auction at the fish market: an assault on the senses so early in the day! The shouts swirling in the weak light of the morning, peddling the fresh catch they are hoping to sell: A great way to top up on inspiration.
