Despite a rocky start with Baby A not feeling very well, we managed to get a couple of photos with his Aunty before she flew later that night. We rescheduled the cakesmash and family shoot for later in the week. A cakesmash outside in August isn’t for faint-hearted! But we were feeling brave!
We explored the park and took advantage of its verdant backdrops for the family photos before setting up for the cakesmash. With the sun setting behind us and the lanterns blowing gently in the (hot!) breeze – we were ready to go!
Baby A was totally mesmerised by his cake. He wasn’t really into eating it – but got stuck right in to getting sticky and loved it! You never really know how a child will react in a cakesmash with many hating the mess. But not this little trouper - he thoroughly enjoyed it!
