I was excited to meet up with this couple, who were over from Kuwait on their babymoon. It was the first time I had turned up at a shoot with a tub of powdered milk and a whisk! Mrs M wanted to do a maternity milk bath as the primary focus with some shots of her and husband too.
There is something quite intimate about doing a milk bath … we got to know each other quite well as I straddled the top of the tub! [See the end of the blog for behind the scene photos of me and my trusty assistant (upgraded from husband for the morning!) who was in charge of moving the flowers.] Traditionally a bit early for a maternity shoot we had to work at getting the bump to be the star of the show, but I think we nailed it.
